Nutrition and Recipes

I do not promote any one eating style as I believe nutrition is very individual.  There is no magic one size fits all program.  What I do promote is eating whole, as natural as possible foods with lots and lots of vegetables, high quality protein, healthy fats and moderate amounts of carbohydrates.   Some of my meals are Paleo, some contains grains some are vegetarian, some include wine and chocolate.  I believe overall consistency is what matters most vs. having one unhealthy meal.  I believe in moderation.

I am a HUGE advocate of cooking at home as much as possible as I do believe this is the number one thing you can do for your health (and wallet!).  I also love going out to eat but most of my meals I do try make at home.  I am also a busy mom so most of my meals are also made fairly fast and are fairly simple.

Here are a few simple recipes that my family enjoys.

Stuffed Peppers

Almond Flour Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
